StaxxGames is a full-stack web platform for IO (Internet of Games) games — lightweight, browser-based multiplayer games that are popular in the casual gaming space. The platform lets users discover, play, rate, and discuss games across multiple categories.
What We Built
A full-stack Laravel application with an Inertia.js + React frontend:
- Game catalogue — A browsable, filterable directory of IO games with thumbnails, descriptions, and category tags
- Rating and reviews — Registered users can rate games and leave reviews, building community-driven quality signals
- Discussion system — Per-game discussion threads where players can share tips, strategies, and feedback
- User profiles — Track played games, ratings submitted, and review history
